Women who were martyrs, converts, and covenant keepers. Women who suffered unspeakable horrors for their faith, their families and their God. \u003cstrong\u003eThis painting depicts a singular woman who is representative of all the heroic women of the scriptures.\u003c\/strong\u003e She is shrouded in the shade, suggesting that she is unknown and hidden from the eyes of the world, and yet she is resolute and steadfast with her eyes fixed assuredly on the viewer, an eye single to the glory of God. \u003cstrong\u003eFruit bursts from the foliage around her representing the results of her efforts, a testimony to her diligence and a declaration that one day, by her fruits, she will be known.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eProcess Used: I used oil paint on linen canvas. This painting was done “alla prima” and was made possible thanks to a friend who agreed to model for me.
